HARMAN Launches RED 125 film!

Valentine’s Day, February 14th, HARMAN will be launching a new ISO 125 redscale film, called HARMAN RED.

With the launch of HARMAN Phoenix 200 in December 2023, HARMAN kicked off its long-term color project with sales from this film going back into this quest. The limited edition HARMAN RED 125 film is the perfect next step in this journey. Based on the Phoenix emulsion, this rescale film has a clear base, no anti-halation layer, and high red & green sensitivity which makes it the perfect emulsion for a redscale film, ensuring minimal speed loss.

HARMAN RED 125 is an ISO 125 redscale film, that can transform mundane scenes into dystopian masterpieces with hues of red, orange, yellow and green.

What Is Redscale Film?

‘Redscale’ describes the effect you get when shooting through the back of a color film. By doing this you are exposing your image through the film’s base and the red sensitive layer first while also significantly reducing the impact of the blue sensitive layer. When accurately exposed, this typically removes the blue from the image whilst creating almost monochromatic results primarily consisting of reds, oranges and yellows.
